Haircuts

This morning was haircut morning. Christine's hair is a little shorter than I would've liked, she moved around quite a bit. (OOOPSS!!!) I couldn't get a good picture of Josh...

For those of you who are curious. Our house is back to its normal 65 degrees. Burrr.... Our heat is turned off til BGE can get here tomorrow morning and we're using room heaters. :)

108 Degrees

Where is it 108 degrees you ask? I don't think you'll believe me when I tell you...

Inside our house!

I came home this evening, after a weekend outing, to a 108 degree house. Apparently the recent problems I'd had with the furnace still existed and was preventing our furnace from shutting down at all! I attempted to put the kids to bed as normal (with their AC units on of course) but they weren't having it. Would you be able to sleep in a bed when it was that hot???

Plan B - let the kids stay awake downstairs (where the 20 degree outdoor air was already cooling things off) and let them watch videos til the upstairs had a chance to cool down. Here they are enjoying a late (and sweaty) night. :) BG&E BETTER be free tomorrow!!!! It might be hot tonight, but that won't last for long!

More Birthdays and Crazy Hair Awana Night

It was Crazy Hair night at Awana. Unfortunately, it was also 32 degrees outside, so their hats messed up most of the hairdos before they even got to Awana. Oh well - they had fun with it. I caught Josh in the bathroom THREE TIMES trying to climb onto the sink and see himself in the mirror. Cute kid...

Ryan kept saying that he looked like a dinosaur. :)

Hamiltopia

Jenny, sorry it's been awhile since we've posted Hamiltopia pictures. We still miss having you here! Things continue to be fun and exciting on Wednesday nights, I'm always sad to see them end...

After being the endless picture taker, Andy passed off the camera to moi - hinting that he wanted to be in a few. We gave him a hard time for it... :) Thanks Di for saving the picture!!!

Birthday Parties!

As usual, I didn't go light on the pictures...
Ryan turns 4 years old tomorrow (sniff, sniff...). He had TWO birthday parties today to celebrate. The morning started off with a friends party - thanks to all who celebrated with us! It was a great time.

Musical chairs was going on in the center of the room, these kids were out and were patiently waiting and watching the end of the game. Hot Potato!

Could he be any cuter??The second party consisted of our family! Ryan got some AWESOME presents (legos, dinosaurs, clothes and $$$!) but this was his favorite. If you push a button on the spine of the dino, his entire upper body moves around and lights up. Very cool!
