Let me just admit that Andy and I also laughed hard when we had to stare each other in the eyes! No joke... I still see Andy's eyes and tears and the laugh in my mind's eye! Too funny. I don't remember it changing our actions. I just remember the punishment.
The real desire is to see them change their hearts towards one another. And if them laughing together at their own punishment brings joy - then so be it! In that respect, the nose-to-nose stare down worked! What can I say Tina??? It's worth a try! But beware, you and Alan will definitely get a kick out of it - even if they don't!
I remember doing something similar with Alex and Tony - and they laughed each time. I had also tried having them hug - but that turned into a tackle-fest. :)

Ok...I just might try it. I can honestly say that it is hard to imagine my girls sitting STILL for ONE minute, let alone FIVE!
