Last day of Camp!

Sadly, Ryan's week at Beachmont camp has come to an end. I have no videos or even pictures of him at the actual camp (I know - I'm an awful mom!). But I did remember to take a few pictures on the very last day.

Such loving brothers...

If you couldn't tell, Ryan got his face painted today to match the Power Rangers look!

Cousin Chloe's 5th Birthday

Josh, Christine and I were lucky enough to spend Chloe's 5th birthday with her! We celebrated at Granny and Pop's with an ice cream cake. The kids had a great time playing together!

Water fun with Juli!

The kids had a great time outdoors yesterday afternoon! Juli picked up on the slip n' slide pretty quickly - smart gal! Christine fell every time she put a foot on the mat... :) In the second video they're playing ring around the rosie - trying to see who can yell the loudest and splash the biggest!

Slip N' Slide

Remember the good old slip n' slides? I have vivid memories of crushing my ribs, bruising my hips bones and disliking the whole experience! Must've been the only one though because the boys today LOVED it!

To start - Ryan and Josh had no idea what they were doing. And if Caleb hasn't done this before, than I'm seriously impressed!

Ryan still doesn't quite get it...

And still...

Finally - he's figured it out! And we have the red ribs to prove it!

With Josh, what you see is what you get!

Here are some pictures for the video challenged... :)

A blogworthy Boxing Nana!

Nana challenged Ryan to a boxing match after seeing a recent post. Check out Nana's side-to-side "blocking" moves!!! :)
Ryan's too cute!

Papa Joe was so impressed by Nana's boxing skills (she beat Ryan) that he, himself, challenged her... and then lost to her. Again - I love the side-to-side motions... shown by both! :)
Papa Joe and Nana - thank you for being blogworthy boxers!!! :)
Juli and Ryan had their own little match. This was Juli's first time and she did well!

The boxers had quite the captive audience!

The Smith kids and cousins enjoyed Nana's blowup pool on Saturday afternoon. It was HOT, but they didn't seem to mind.

Gymnastics Finale

After much inspiration from Tina Blackman, I am posting my first TWO video clips! Ryan had his last gymnastics class today and I caught the finale in action. Enjoy!

Yes - I realize there is no sound - and I apologize for that. Tina - how do you get sound? Do you have a special high tech camera???

Here he is with his teacher Ms. Paula!

Way to go RYAN!!!! until next season...

It's been awhile...

Sorry I haven't been the frequent poster that I should be... Lots going on and little free time!

We enjoyed a day at my grandparents yesterday and Ryan played boxing on their Wii! Notice the tongue sticking out, that comes from Grandma Smith! :)
He had four KO's (I think that's what they're called). Below he is proudly displaying the "instant replay" of his most recent takedown...Josh and Andy had some bonding time at the Air Show in May - should we have let that happen???
And today we thorougly enjoyed a trip to the Baltimore zoo. We joined the Dunkerton's and Gorman's for a homeschooling fieldtrip (even though we're not quite school age yet) and had a great time! Thanks for everyone's help with the young ones and a fun day!

A family photo... with Christine looking rather uncomfortable... A serious pose of the kids! And a goofy pose of the kids - their idea!
