A Summer Birthday Party

Both Josh and Christine celebrate summer birthdays. In fact, if you remember from previous blog posts (or know us well enough), we have 2 months each year that both Josh and Christine are the same age. This year... it's the wonderful age of FOUR!
To celebrate both birthdays, we had a pool party today. Much thanks to the friends and families who made this a special occasion for two dear children that Andy and I greatly cherish!

In a moment of sheer stupidity on the beach today, I walked back to the bathrooms with Christine WITHOUT SHOES on!!! You can tell by the blisters how hot the sand was. Both Christine and I were in tears by the time we reached the bathrooms... :(
